I am planning on moving to somewhere outside of toronto or to edmonton, which has more to offer and what is the quality of life in both places?Where would be a better place to live the greater toronto area or edmonton?
You ask a good question but the answer really depends on what you mean by "better". Each city has something to offer.
If you do not like long and cold winters then you may be better off staying near Toronto...on the other hand, Edmonton doesn't get slushy, freezing rain that Toronto gets. Edmonton's summers are, of course, shorter, but they're at least as hot and there isn't the wilting humidity that you find in Toronto.
Edmonton isn't as big a city as Toronto but there is at least the same level of commerce and services as there are in Toronto.
