What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Toronto Island Airport?

I was wondering, what are the advantages and disadvantages of having the Toronto Island Airport.

Advantages:



1. Because its a small airport, there are no custom or immigranat that you need to go through. So if your planning on going to the states, you just have to board the flight



2. Again because its a small airport, its not as busy, meaning the wait time isnt as long as it would be at a larger airport



3. Theres more frequent flights going to/from TIA



Disadvantages:



1. In the winter if you need to fly from there, you'll have to take the ferry , which may not even run across the lake

I'll give you two hints: you can get to it by streetcar or walk to it and it's bloody noisy for the homes (condos) in close proximity.

The rest you can fill in by a bit of research. One more point though: I love flying Porter.
Advantage: convenience.

Disadvantage: small size (runway too small for most commercial jets)
