craigslist is a waste of time compared to kijiji.
I'd go with either the classified ads on the Toronto Sun or Toronto Star's websites, or look for one of the websites for companies that market apartments for rent for building owners.

Avoid Craigslist for things like rentals. Go to myhood.ca. It will let you search by $, location, rooms, etc and narrow your list pretty quickly.
