I live in the suburbs in Toronto and my dog barks for maybe 5-10 minutes in the garden then we bring him back into the house.



I read online that if you live in toronto and your dog barks excessively, then you get fined, and my friend who owns a dog says that dogs in toronto are allowed to bark up to 1 hour continuously and are only allowed to bark during certain times. is that true? if so, can someone give me the link?How Long is my dog allowed to bark in toronto?

you can get a fine yes, if your neighbors complain about it several times, other than that, i don't know any rules in Toronto, but in Ottawa, you complain several times then you get a fine..
