How long is a flight from London to Toronto?

Hi,

can you tell me how long the flight is from London to Toronto and what I should bring or do on the flight?

Also, would you recommend bringing those special socks on the plane?How long is a flight from London to Toronto?
Approx. 8 hours.



It's a pretty long flight, and could get boring. Most planes would have a tv, or personal tv so you can watch movies or tv shows. But sometimes not, and I've been on flights where the system breaks down.



So an iPod would be good! Some source of music...

A book, just in case.

Cards? If you're flying with someone- you cna play some games like crazy 8's :)

Snacks/ Water bottle- I love junk food, and the plane pretty much has free peanuts or expensive airplane food- other than the nasty airplane meal they give you. I always need snacks or candy to keep me occupied. And if you have your own water- you won't have to keep asking for some.

Possibly a blanket- nowadays some flights make you buy the crappy blanket they offer! and if it's free- its still not good enough. And I find most airplanes very cold! So something travel size, but enough to warm you :)



hmm...what else?

If it would help you sleep, a neck thing (not sure of the correct name), but those u shaped things to go around your neck and/or the eye mask that ill cover your eyes when you sleep (helps some people, but not me- i just don't like the feeling.

Not sure what special socks your talking about, but if you want your feet warm- sure why not?

I also recommend getting up and walking around once in a while so your feet don't swell as much and you tend to get stir crazy couped up in one seat for 8 hours!
Normal flight time from Heathroe to Toronto is 8 hours.



Just get up and walk around the plane, a few times during the flight.
