How can a fourteen year old get involved with charity work in Toronto?

i want to get involved and do something to make a difference...as well as just in toronto i was wondering if there are any places such as me to we that will take out groups of kids to do different charity work in other countries and stuff. I would only be able to do this during the school year so that would be best. Do you know of anything?
