What are the different neighbourhoods in Toronto, Ontario? Which are the safest?

I would like to place an ad in a community newspaper in a nice lil' Toronto community. For all of you Toronto natives out there, just what are the different neighbourhoods in Toronto? Which are the best/safest for a Uni-student looking to move there?

Thank you! What are the different neighbourhoods in Toronto, Ontario? Which are the safest?
toronto is filled with countless neighbourhoods, way too many to list. i would base my neighbourhood choice on what university you're attending. if you're going to the university of toronto then the annex is a great place to live.
Okay I have lived in Toronto for a long time ...

Expensive but good neighborhoods:

Rosedale

Summerhill

Forest Hill

Bayview and York Mills

Not as expensive but good areas:

Avenue and Lawrence (North York)

Shepphard and Yonge (North York)

Look on realtor.ca for houses in these areas :)What are the different neighbourhoods in Toronto, Ontario? Which are the safest?
I would aim for Cabbage town if it was me, these people are sending you to multimillion dollar communities, what student can afford that, Cabbage town is just off Bloor/Yonge
Rosedale is the saftest, but also the most expensive
Rosedale, Forest Hill, Leaside and Davisville Village.
The Beach, Great area love it.
