Where is the best place to learn skiing for beginners near Toronto?

We are new immigrants in Toronto and looking for skiing class for beginners. We've heard of Skyvalley near Toronto. Where is it located ?Where is the best place to learn skiing for beginners near Toronto?
Hi. Welcome to Toronto.

You can e:mail www.highparkskiclub.com or you can try calling them at (416) 537-SNOW. When you call press 2-1-0 to request a lesson. I believe they are free the lessons.

Good luck and have fun.Where is the best place to learn skiing for beginners near Toronto?
I've never heard of skyvalley myself.

In the Toronto area, there are only a few ski hills. If you want to try a decent hill, but not one that is too difficult, you could try Glen Eden in Milton. Milton is about 45 min West of downtown Toronto on the 401. You can actually see the ski hill from the 401 if you are driving between Guelph and Milton.

Glen Eden is probably the best ski hill within the GTA (in my opinion). If you are looking for something more challenging, try Blue Mountain (near Collingwood) or Mt. St. Louis / Moonstone (near Barrie)
