What is the cheapest area of Toronto to rent an apartment without it being too dangerous? I just want a very small apartment, it doesn't have to be pretty, as long as it can fit a bed in it I'm fine. I'll also be going to University, I'd like to go to Ryerson but I'm still undecided. What part of the city should I live in? And what is that part of city like? What is the cheapest area in Toronto to live while still being safe?
The words "cheap" and "safe" does not go together in Toronto. If you're going to Ry-high, just live on residence; it'll save you the trouble of dealing with too many conceited people in transit.
I am living in Toronto. Toronto is famous and safe city. you can find cheapest apartment for rent on http://www.gotransglobe.com/rentals/ON/apartments-for-rent-Ontario/Toronto.aspxWhat is the cheapest area in Toronto to live while still being safe?
Well two cheaper areas of Toronto would be parts Scarborough and Etobicoke. Both of those areas have undesirable areas but for the most part safe. If you get a place near the subway both are around a 30 minute transit ride to downtown Toronto.
Areas to say away from:
Kingston Road %26amp; Morningside in Scarborough
Jane and Finch
Kennedy Road is cheap and relatively safe.
check along dundas and dufferin and also maybe young and college since its pretty close to ryerson. maybe even cabbagetown or the annex which is very student friendly
