How can one listen to a Toronto radio station in Edmonton?

If I am sitting in my room at home in Edmonton, how can I listen to a Toronto radio station. I know I can listen to it online - but I want to listen to it on a CD Player type or similar device. How can one listen to a Toronto radio station in Edmonton?
You cannot hear ANY radio stations on a CD player. You need a radio, so I assume you mean a radio rather than an internet device.

The only Toronto station regularly heard in Alberta is CFRX on shortwave (6070 kHz) which relays CFRB 1010 AM. Toronto is too far away from Alberta to REGULARLY be heard on AM or FM though. That said, high power AM stations will occasionally be heard there at night if you have a quiet location and propagation conditions are favourable. Try for 740 and 1010 as those two are the most reliable TO stations heard Westward.

There may be occasional "E-skip" events that may allow FM to travel such distances, but that will be even more rare than nighttime propagation of AM signals. How can one listen to a Toronto radio station in Edmonton?
