If I have an afternoon to kill in Toronto, what are some inexpensive things to do?

My boyfriend and I (both in our early 20's) are going to Toronto for a few days. We've already planned out the Science Centre and the Hockey Hall of Fame. We still have an afternoon/evening to fill, but we are on a rather modest budget. Can any natives or frequent visitors help me out?If I have an afternoon to kill in Toronto, what are some inexpensive things to do?
Take a ferry to the Toronto Islands! It has an awesome view of Toronto! You can also go to Casa Loma if you're into castles. Also you could go shopping in the Eaton Centre or go ontop of the CN Tower. The cheapest his the ferry to the Toronto Islands.
well you can go to city hall? not really entertaining... hmmm i think ontario place is closed :P You can go to the CN tower... roger centre? (Sky dome) dundas square? i'd say the mall, but that's not really... entertaining... you can just WALK...I Like walking on the island thingys in the middle on university st. Hmm... there's not that many things to do... High park? centre island? its just cold :PIf I have an afternoon to kill in Toronto, what are some inexpensive things to do?
Brass Rail on Yonge St.
http://www.cntower.ca is a good afternoon type trip if you don't have low cloud. . and not really costly to go up (unless you choose to eat at rotating restaurant at top... they are pricey).
