How and what is needed to obtain a food street vendor license in Toronto, Canada and cost assocaited?

Me and a friend are looking into a starting a food stand concession business and are just wondering where information on obtaining a street vendor license in Toronto, Can such as cost, where to obtain a license, important links, etc. All and any information is greatly appreciated.

Last year I also looked into getting a street food vendor license in Toronto. I called the Dept. of Health and was told that they do not issue permits for that activity. I also called the city as was told that street vending is not allowed in Toronto. Those who do it do so illegally and get fines if they get caught. The only way we found to get around it was to associate ourselves with a business and do all vending on their property. Once a permanent address was obtained it was possible to get the necessary permits.How and what is needed to obtain a food street vendor license in Toronto, Canada and cost assocaited?
hi, do like all the rest get permission from a bussiness owner , get your licence and do your vending anywhere you find a place of interest. when questioned reply with i didn,t know ,sorry and move to another spot. just a person tryimh to survive in this disarranged planet. good luck.
